Monique is a Human Resource leader & Recruiting expert, and the Founder & CEO of The MCM Group, LLC. She has a B.A. in Human Resource Management from Lindenwood University and over 20 years of proven experience leading in human resource management, talent development & strategies, profit and not-for-profit sectors. Over the course of her expansive career, she has honed expertise in human resource strategies, recruitment and retention of top diverse talent, diversity & inclusion initiatives, and women entrepreneurship.

Her previous position as Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist for BJC Healthcare helped her develop her skills as a crafty and effective recruiter, allowing her to expand her knowledge of new-age recruitment methods.

NOTABLE POSITIONS

Mrs. McKinney has also provided consulting solutions to Southern Illinois University Edwardsville in East St. Louis, IL where she provided support in employment/recruiting, retention initiatives, employee relations, benefit and compensation administration. During this role, she worked in conjunction with the Director’s Office in East St. Louis to ensure all employment policies and procedures were administered with integrity and without bias.

She previously worked as Senior Human Resource Consultant at AAIM Employer’s Association. During her time there she provided strategic consulting on HR solutions and initiatives to smell and medium-sized businesses. She assisted with employee retention, HR policy development, benefits, staff training, and performance management. Her role also included offering advice and hands-on support for the execution of human capital strategies/resolutions and leadership initiatives in support of strategic business decisions.

PAYING IT FORWARD

Monique holds a passion for working serving the community, exudes incredible communication and leadership skills while layering]  you with her effervescent personality. She is passionate about mentoring youth and female entrepreneurship.

Currently, she serves on the Webster University Library Advisory Board as a second term board member and is a CORO Women In Leadership Alumni Fellow Class 67.  She has spent time tirelessly involving herself as a youth-mentor with The Boys & Girls Club of Greater St. Louis and previously with Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization.

She currently volunteers as a Work Group Leader for Grace Hill’s Women Business Center (WIBO) and the Women’s Leadership Circle with the Boys & Girls Club in St. Louis, MO. Mrs. McKinney is a current and active member of the National Council of Negro Women(NCNW), Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), National Human Resource Association – St. Louis (NHRA) and Society of Multi-Cultural Professionals In Human Resources.
